What do people say about Q Travel Malta?
Just wrapping up our travel details to return to Malta, and was reminded that I had not posted a review for QTravel from our last trip there in December 2024. Chronic procrastinator!!! Enlisting a guide is not something we normally do, but our tour was recommended to us. We did the Mdina, Winery Tour, and it did not disappoint. Artur and company were the perfect hosts, not to mention his all encompassing knowledge of the island, and its history. We met at our flat in Marsaskala. From there we drove off the beaten path to the countryside, which was beautiful, and well detailed by Artur. The winery was so picturesque, as was the surrounding landscape. Our lovely host (sorry - cannot remember her name) was excellent, as was the lunch and wine tasting. As a GOT fan - Mdina was a treat, and as we learned - quite a historic marvel. Overall - a great outing with these gents, and would highly recommend it. Will look into touring other areas when we arrive in January! Happy Holidays Artur & the QTravel gang :-)

We had booked a historical food and sights tour of Valletta, Malta, with a focus on queer history, and it was fantastic! It ended up being just the two of us and our tour guide Artúr, so it felt even more special than we’d expected. We tried local UNESCO foods, saw hidden gems of the city, and even tried the famous Nelson’s hook. If you are “with the band,” or don’t know what that means, book your tour today!!!

We did the walking tour of Mdina and Rabat with Artúr. It was great and very informative. Artúr catered the tour to make sure we saw the spots we wanted to see. Would highly recommended booking with him.

Very well-organized. Travel was provided both to and from our hotel, which was no where near Mdina. Artúr was very friendly and informative, answering all our questions. For the price, we would have enjoyed another hour of the tour, showing us some of Rabat or other nearby sights. The bucolic winery offered three exquisite vintages, wine, meats, and olives.

This was an amazing experience and one I would recommend to anyone! Such a rich and vibrant history Malta has so having time to hear some of the history as we explored the city was fabulous. We also tasted some amazing things - the chocolate was lovely (both the edible and drinkable versions!), the Easter cookies are divine, and we loved the food we sampled at Elephant Shoes! Artur was lovely and made the experience extra special for us.

The tour of Gozo with Artur was the highlight of our vacation. His knowledge of the cutlure, the island, history and Malta in general was unmatched. We had great fun and saw so much during our day together, we are still taking it all in! Special moments to include the private driver, off road venues, a boat trip to the Groto and a private lunch were all fantastic. Artur is the tour guide to contact for our community when visiting Malta or Gozo on vacation or for business! SAW

We really enjoyed our tour with Artur. It was a great introduction to the history of Malta in general and the queer history of Malta in particular. There was a good balance between walking and stopping to listen to Artur. The tour was filled with fun and interesting anecdotes supported by printed pictures/illustrations. It was clear that a lot of research has gone into making the tour as historically accurate as possible with Artur underlining that examining queer history often involves a lot of reading between the lines. He, in turn, is excellent at drawing up the lines for you! Thanks for a great tour.
